Breteis

The project

Breteis started as a real brief: packaging for a line of artisan ice cream. We designed the whole range — a deep black label framed by a golden arch, rich ingredient illustrations and a colour of its own for every flavour: Cassis & Lavendel, Pistazie & weiße Schokolade, Mango & Salbei, Schokolade & Orange.

The system goes beyond the front of the jar: a complete wrap-around label with ingredients, nutrition facts and storage notes, and a matching line of chocolate pouches — Haselnuss, Vollmilch, Zartbitter, Marzipan and Mandel — built on the same arch.

In the end, the project never went into production. But the result turned out so good that we couldn't leave it in a drawer — so here it is.
